Hello
I have not tried the Pelpro Bay View in quite a while since I repainted it, so I thought I would give it a try.
Here is the steps.
1. Plug in AC - Hear convection fan start and then hear exhaust fan start.
See green fan light on low.
2. Press start - See Ignitor red light on, red fan speed on 4 and green Auger cycle light on.
See AccutronII control board pic below:
Now here is the problem. The auger does not turn and no pellets drop into the burn pot!
Trouble shooting steps.
1. unplug stove and auger.
2. Test Auger with suicide cord. Auger Turns
3. Test High Limit switch with Multi-Meter - Switch is closed.
4. Pull out Vacuum Switch and blow into vacuum hole (positive pressure switch) and see multi-meter read zero ohms (Short circuit) - Ok Switch works.
5. Disconnect vacuum hose and blow it out. Hose seems clear.
Still same problem when starting up.
Last step
Disconnect Vacuum switch and insert male tom male jumper.
Auger turns stove starts and works!!
Ok, what is wrong??
The plastic hose seems slightly loose on the vacuum switch.
Does vacuum switch need to much pressure to stay closed?
Vacuum hose is 24 inches long and maybe an auto parts store has one that will fit?
Any comments or suggestions?
