New to site but it's great Looking to replace old Liberty Bell in garage I need large fire box 22inch so I don't have to cut two sizes My quad 5700 in house burns 22 inch Hard to find large log burners Non Cat of course. Any one have a Enerzone 3.4 or Heatilator ws22 ?

I have an Enerzone 2.9 and it seems to be a pretty good stove. I was going to go with the 3.4 due to the space I am trying to heat, but the pedestal base just doesn't do it for me. With the 2.9 i got still got a large firebox (for a 6" stack) and I can look at it! I saw the 3.4 burning at the shop, and man, it just cruises.

no experience with the Heatilator.

I have installed several 3.4's. I have also had the opportunity to burn a few of them after install, I was very impressed. They are very responsive and well built.

Thanks for info I don't like ped. style also , I like the leg style also

I have a Heatiliator WS22 and am fairly happy with it.

I heat 1800 sq/ft with it and it does as well of a job as I expect it to in a 110 year old house with marginal insulation.

The WS22 does have a huge firebox for a non-cat, but one thing that I kind of wish that it had was an ash pan. I pretty much have to shovel 3-5 inches of ash/coal out whenever I am going to re-load it.

I think that ultimately it is a great stove for the price and performance but I would rather have found one with legs as opposed to the pedestal.

It is also pretty easy to operate- just 1 air control lever.

Good luck in your decision making and let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks on your info on your ws22 Cost here in PA. about $1450
