I have burned 1 ton of pellets so far this winter. I have been cleaning the stove as follows:

every 1 - 2 days brush down the burn pot and empty ash pan
Once a week I do the above plus remove fire brick and clean the ash traps and clean the ash trap on the vent outside
I had the installer clean at end of last year (1st year in use)

Is it time to clean the blowers? If so could someone please explain the process of doing that, as I have not found any information on how to do this on this model stove.

Not sure you have to clean the blowers just yet. But you may want to clean out your venting after a ton. Do a search for the leaf blower trick. ;)

I have looked at that but I don't have a leaf blower. but I do plan on Brushing out the vent pipe - Im looking into the linteater. but how do you clean out the T section going into the stove (I guess thats what the leaf blower is for) My install is from stove out the back wall (less than 2') with a T clean out on bottom and up 5' with a 90 and end cap/screen

I have the standard Simpson Duravent kit from lowes, out the back of the stove 1 foot, then 3' up, a 90 another 1' and a temination vent cap (slightly different setup from the pic on the box). I connect my leaf blower to the bottom of the cleanout-T, open the door of my stove, place one of those .99 cent reusable Walmart fabric bags over my vent cap, then turn on the blower and enjoy the show. I haven't ran a brush through yet, but I only installed this stove the end of October. I was thinking of buying the soot-eater pellet stove cleaner to use end of this season.

Thanks for the info (sounds like a similar install) maybe ill invest in a leaf blower for next year. But if there is anyone out there with info on how to clean the blower fans or anything else that needs to be done Id like the info as Id rather do the service myself instead of paying someone else as the reason we installed the stove was to save money so far so good we have saved about $150 - $200 per month so far this winter as we have not had to use the 2 heat pumps much this winter.

I was just looking at the installation pdf on the Lennox site. It almost looks as if there is just one motor running two impellers, 1 for the exhaust fan & 1 for the room air blower. Is that correct?

Honestly I am not sure as I wanted to open up the 2 side panels today to look at the inside of the stove (as I have never done that) but today is just too cold to shut her down to do that. I hear people talking about pulling the motor and replacing gaskets not sure if that needs to be done every year or if I can just vac the surrounding area once I open up the sides?? Hope that makes sense. Please keep in mind I am a pellet wife and have not worked on motors before but am willing to learn.

I have an old Whitfield Cascade (before Lennox bought them) and it only had 1 motor that runs both both fans. It was a real groan to take out when the bearings went (the only repair othe tan cleaning needed in over 14 years) on it. I am not sure it is made to come out easily.

fmsm - thanks for the info I may just open the side panels and vac out as best as I can and schedule a full service by the professionals in the early fall. Glad to hear you have had minimal repairs done on your unit I was beginning to wonder if I made a good choice as it does not appear to be too many lennox or whitfield units owned on this site.
