I don't know how he does it....

looks like you might have to put him on Ridalin to get him back under control LOL

Great photo - I am a bit of a dog lover and think there should be more pics like this on here. My dog is a mutt with some husky in the mix I think. I am pretty sure he is angry with the stove install as he liked it better when we just toughed it out at 65 degrees trying not to run the furnace too much.

As far as he is concerned the damn house is too hot this year!

Great pic Kevin, that dog doesn't have a care in the world!

Fantastic pic . . . and a very nice looking hearth incidentally.

Growing up, we had a ma cat that would cozy RIGHT up to the stove. I swear she kept just a few degrees short of bursting in to flame! Cat didn't complain a bit, and suffered no apparent ill effects.

Great picture!! He's really out! He keeps that up. the the belly will get bigger ya know.

my St. Bernard would agree with yours, rather be outside in the snow/cold
pic reminds me of our passed Basset, not a care in the world

I swear my dog is one of the few that hates the stove. She'll sleep in the hall when it's cranking to get away from it!

Our bird has his regular pirch on the side of the wing back chair in the living room. He hates to go back in the cage when we go to work.

Is he house trained?

Def looks like some husky, or maybe even some wolf not too far back in the mix. Something about the forehead and muzzle. More pix.

I had a malemute who would get depressed when spring arrived. Loved the snow!

How the devil did my post end up over here, didn't even know the place existed...

The Inglenook forum was created for just this kind of cozy chatter. Grab a brew and find a seat next to the fire.

I keep telling mine they qualify as combustibles, but they pay me no never mind, sleep right on the stone hearth so they can cozy up to the stove.
