wow. and only $6.49 a bag.

Maybe I'll fly up there and rent a U-Haul to drive back with a few tons. :)

Hey, they only cost a little more than fuel oil BTU's.
But then again, for those that get a 70% discount and can't get pellets elseware may jump at them.

They had them as TSC in S. Maine. Wow! $6.49 for one of the worst pellets on the market, bet their charging $2.99 for Oakies.

That flame monster on the bag is just to cool.

Long live the inferno.

Wow! I have a ton of these unfortunately. We got them delivered for $206/ton. My stove burns them with clinkers galore, 3-4 bags and the burn pot is full of hardened ash. The local Aubuchon in Garder, MA, has Green Supremes for $6.49/bag or $250/ton. I get that selling bags is not as profitable as opposed to tons, but $1.50/bag mark up is a bit steep. I guess it is common practice. As long as people keep buying they keep gouging. The price of pellets should not be equal to the price of foreign oil BTU's. They should cost 1/2 as much and could cost half as much. But who wants the oil companies to suffer? Not our government, they allow and welcome our oil dependence. It just may be our demise.

BTDT and No thanks!

My stove handles them just fine, But I'd have to burn a 1/2 dozen bags a day to keep the place warm.

Half a dozen? You got THAT many to even burn?????

I wouldn't pay 6.49/bag for any pellet on the market today. For that price i'd just run the furnace.

My inferno pellets jump out of the burn pot when they fall in

I did I closed it and bolted it shut
