Feeling the Heat

Ah, there she is. Newly installed today and cranking away. I had the OAK terminate inside the masonry fireplace with a grill vent at the top of the chimney to let the air in. I'm burning Barefoots and I have the temp set to 70F to see what she'll do in heating my 1928 house with an attic I recently re-insulated. It's plugged into a surge suppressor and answers by the name of Carol ... or maybe Irene.

Very nice setup and I love the hardwood floor! What is that statue hanging out there?

very nice looking stove install
hopefully she heats well for you

@Pelletfisky -- that's one of the goddesses of compassion I think in eastern religions (because of the raised right hand). That granite piece over her left shoulder in the corner is a very old granite hitching post from China.

Nice looking install!!

Looks good...You should replace your statue with a pellet God Statue, Maybe Dexter, J, or Smokey to name a few!! I may get one also, then when I get angry, I will have something to kick!!! :cheese:

Now, now. No kicking religious icons. As for the three guys you mention: I Tebow them every time I log on to hearth.com.
