What are some of the issues that show up when your door gasket is not sealing...I'm getting a build up of ash in front of the door at the base area...seems like it's more since I re-glued some of he gasket into the door last week..????...can I check it somehow for sealing..??

I figure you insert it and see if you can pull it out...and the door should be clamped...?????

Yep. Test it in several spots on each side with door clamped. If it pulls out easily, its crap or needs adjustment.
