It's nice and easy on the eyes.

Thanks for your work :)

I like that you can mouse over the topic and get a brief description of the post, but other than that, I like them both.
Does the reply link always "quote" on the new site, this one gives you a choice.

It looks very nice and is simple to use which is a big plus. One thing that I personally use and am curious if you will keep is the public profile button on the top of the screen. Over all A+ on style!

You can just type into the box at the bottom which is always there...if you want to reply without quoting....

I assume that will stay the way it is over there now.

Besides the little bit of eye candy, there are some real upgrades. The search is much more powerful, although it will be even better if and when we move over. PM's are threaded - you can virtually have real time chat.

Speaking of chat, I could put a real facebook like chat there also.....really instant. Facebook users can automatically log in using their FB id...actually, too many upgrades to even count, but the various tools such as sorting the columns in forum view, bubble on mouse over, search, etc. are the things people use every second..and therefore should enhance the user experience.

Wow that really sounds like massive upgrade I can't wait to see it in full.

I don't really care to see the OP's avatars in the list of topics. What I'd really like to see is some sort of flag that shows that I participated in a thread since I can't find the time to read them all.

If you have participated it looks like it puts a small pic of your avitar in the corner of the OPs. Next?

I'll second on the 'participated in discussion' flag.

Yep, I like that it shows that. Sometimes I remember telling someone something and can't remember which thread that was in to come back for a follow-up. I think that feature will be useful.

Really like the new look, for an old coot much more readable. One thing that struck me though is how out of place the old logo looks with the new look.

thanks for all the work,
Littlalex

I'll check it out.
Wish there was a button for last post read in each thread.

There is a "go to first unread" button instead.

It's right under the thread title once you click on a thread.

That's what I meant..cool!

Some nice features. Easier to read.
"Embrace change or get out of the way" is a saying a co-worker told me once. With the computers, digital age & how rapid things change today, he was right.
I had a tough time when I rented a car last year & didn't get a real Key. Took a while to figure out how it worked to start the car. Got thru it fine.
Some nice usable features. May make me want to tweet/twitter :)

Trusting the change (if you change) is not just for the sake of change.

Looks good, the font size is great, easy on the eyes , I'm not sure how to post pictures from the iPad , not an issue , I will figure that out.

Looks good.I really like the preview option of each thread.

Can't say I find it more appealing than the current...But I do like it
