Hi Everyone

I am new here, and to using a pellet stove as well. I have burned a few different types of pellets in my stove. I have found that Stove Chow, at least the ones I'm burning now, are really good. Have you guys had similar experiences with these? Are they consistently good, or is it batch by batch? I got mine at Home Depot in Matamoras, PA. I go back and forth between buying a ton of them or not. I'm afraid that perhaps some will be great, and a bunch could be crappy. Any thoughts? i have a Summers Heat/Englander stove, the baseline model, and two Great Danes, that are very glad i bought them a new stove. ;)

Welcome aboard!
The stove chows are pretty good If you can find Somerset pellets they burned the best for me also green team
Enjoy the heat!!

Welcome from another Orange County member.

The better question is, what other pellets are available to you, and what are the prices?

Some pellets may be more $$, but will give more heat, and vice versa.

Stove chow this season and last were very consistent for me. Good heat and no clinkers for the most part. Did get a few clinks when burning on maximum while ignoring the stove's maintainence for a few weeks. Typically if I clean the stove every couple days the Stove Chow works great!

I use GREEN TEAM blend in my 25 pdv. HOT HOT HOT is all I can say. I have a ton of new england pellets and the green team burn better.
