Probably the best deal i've gotten in months! 1 or 2 pull start. clean as a whistle-inside and out. sharpened the chain on my timber tuff and it cuts like a dream! guy said it was too small for him- needed more oompf. i wanted it for limbing and clearing my woods of the small, weedy stuff-perfect! doesn't look like it was used much at all. runs and idles great-couldn't be more pleased with a 50 dollar investment. a good one on craigs list. art

Let me guess. It's probably pretty quiet too, which is a GOOD thing.

May it serve you long and well.

I'd like to try out an Echo saw. I have all Stihl equipment which is great, but after picking up an Echo leaf blower I am willing to consider their saws. That blower always starts easily, runs quieter than average, and has done a great job.

I've had my wee Echo top handle arborist's saw for 30 yrs,was HS grad/Xmas present from parents.Gutsy little saw, pretty tough & reliable, barely 8lbs.Years ago it was dropped from 25 ft,few dings & dents to sheetmetal muffler/clutch/sprocket cover but started right up.

Dont turn as fast as newer saws, but I dont move as fast now either most days :) One of these days I may replace it,but long as it runs good I hate to spend $300-400 on a comparable new Echo or Husky.

i've never had an echo saw before this-just stihl, husky and poulan. i am very favorably impressed with this saw! just spent an hour degreasing, air drying and polishing. looks like a brand new saw! hoping it will indeed serve me long and well. thanks, art

Echo has long been #2 with a bullet in the top handle saw game. We'll see if Stihl's new MS201T is a worthy heir to the throne. The MS200T (albeit pricey) was IMO hands down, the top handle machine to own.

Master mech- i also have an 034 super. probably-no definitely- the finest saw i have ever owned!! bar none! got the echo to limb with-the 034 is a bit heavy! art
