Hey! Congrats on the 12 day old!!!!!!

64 bags all season and NO PROPANE!

1600 sq ft ranch

Before Pellets: Propane crooks filled the tank 11/22. Came back on 1/19 and the tank took 166 gals at 2.88 for a total of $477. Averages out to about $13 a day...worst part is we were never really warm although we kept the house around 70

After pellets: Started burning 12/30, 33 bags as of 1/31, avg. $5 bag=$165 Keep the house around 72 with no propane used. First time we've been warm without worrying about cost since....well, forever!!

Enjoy the stove, enjoy the heat and really love the savings!! Also, really enjoy the forum!!

Have burned 58 bags in January. That is 1.575#/degree day or $0.176/degree day. Have a 2500 sq ft log home. Sure beats the $0.600/degree day I was paying for propane.

127 bags at the end of Jan. Last year was 141 bags at the same point. (Yeah, I mark on the calendar by the stove each day, and I save the calendars back to 2009).

Mine equaled out to be about 1.15 pounds per hdd.

About 1450 sq. ft. Have burned about 1 1/2 tons this year with only a few drops of oil on the few coldest mornings, to bring the house up to temp. Have run the oil burner about 1 3/4 hours all together.

2375sq. ft. two story farmhouse. January totals in furnace: 43bu. of corn and 35 bags of pellets.

Since 10/1, 1600sq ft. Me, wife baby.
4 tons. Just pick up 5th ton with new truck.

3 tons green supreme
1 Green Team Platinum

5th ton will be Green Supreme cuz lowes employee loaded my truck up with wrong one. Was suppose to get Green Teams.

May want to check your receipt. Lowes around me charge more for Green Teams than Green Supreme. They prolly just took your money.

See Sig.

I bought 2 pallets (3 tons), and I only just cracked open the 2nd pallet on the 1st of Feb.

Yeh GT Platinums are 261.00 and green supremes are 217 or something. I just kept the green supremes. They are crediting the difference+ 20.00.

1880 SF colonial running 24/7 and ran through 36 bags. Downstairs 73 upstairs 71 ustairs. This was a very mild Jan.

I used 35 bags in Jan. Could of used less but kept it nice and toasty, why, cause I could.

87 bags so far this year, roughly 25 bags in January,
So far only the end of summer propane fill up and one fill up in early january versus one fill up a month last year.
The propane boiler stilll runs the back addition on the house, and we were out of town a total of 4 weeks since the start of october that the propane did whole house duty. Very Happy with the savings.

140 bags as of this morning, since early October. Nearly 50 bags in January. 1 ton,10 bags on hand...going out for the pellet ride today and pickup another ton. We prolly burn more than most folks , three teens, retired nurse, two stoves 24/7 our sole source(that we use) for heat. We are on target to burn less than last year..but as the old timers round here use to say"best have a ton of coal for April"...
