I have gone through 2 tons of Green Supremes since the beginning of October. It heats my whole 1600 sq. ft house. This is my first stove. I went with the M55cast FS. Has anyone gone through as much as me?

Oh yeah we have!
We have 1.5 tons left out of 4 tons.
But: 2X4 house not enough insulation!
Have not heated basement this year so staying 52-54 instead of 60 last year!
Keeping heat a bit higher than last year and have tried another mode(stove)
1530 sq ft Cape. Stove on 1st floor in LR.

The good news! Looks like we went through 300 gal of oil from last Feb to this Feb.
We used to burn 925 gal. Oil is $3.55/gal here and we paid $219/ton delivered.

I am close to 110 bags since october heating 2400sq foot house, leave stove on room temp 68-70 degrees. stove runs 24/7 except on some of the warmer days with sun stove will shut down in afternoon for a while.

Hi. New to this site...bought a Breckwell big E 2008. So far this year went through 2 tons. Zero fuel oil. I just rebuilt my own combustion blower. Not sure if anyone has had experience with that.

3 tons 2400 sf house. 2 stoves 24 hour burning, Heating whole house into the mid 70's, even back bedrooms.

Hey Farmboy, our farmhouse was built in 1870 also.

We just installed our stove mid dec and I think we have used about a ton of pellets so far.

We burn 24/7 and have not used any oil. house is toasty warm.

big house, 2 story with 9' ceilings.

luckily 2 tons of pellets came with our stove purchase on craigslist so we haven't purchased any yet.
