Should I cconsider this or not

i believe a few people have looked at this stove and warned folks to stay away.

i'm sure someone else will reply and maybe confirm this.

i remember reading that the '06 was the first year for this model (i think) and it had the most problems.
iirc, one member said "run away" in regards to this particular individual stove.

this is second hand from my memory.
but i'm nearly certain this is the same stove cl ad folks have commented on.
 
Here is what I see:

1. Six year old stove

2. Not running, who knows what that means.

3. $1000 is way too much money for a stove that is not running.

4. One other thing, in his pictures you can see another stove in the background. It may or may not be, but I'm wondering if a stove guy owns this?

I think I would pass, not even worth a call.

Friend scored a working 2006 ae with a hearth pad and pipe for a grand... At 450 id risk it, but no more. Also, that's assuming you have the skills to fix it yourself...

Resorting to pellet piracy already! I can see back in 2008, but this year, with the mild even! unbelievable......can I come?
 
there is another one of those on craigslist for 750 working i hink it was on one of the conn. sites. nice looking stove though theres also 1 on ebay in the philly area

Besides with the steady supply and price here, hoarding isn't as important. ;-)
