newb needs help

can you guys tell me what type of wood i have here ?

i cut this one down thanks to my neighbors saying go ahead

and this one fell a month or two ago they are two differant treees..

First pic looks alot like a young red maple. I can almost guarantee you that the second picture is sumac.......it sure looks like sumac to me.
 
I also think Red Maple and Staghorn Sumac. Staghorn Sumac is not the kind that causes a rash. It also is not real great firewood, but the good news is that it will grow back in a couple of years.
