I love it. My friend who owns a tree company just dumped this for FREE!
This load I got today is all bucked into 24" rounds.
It was about 15-20 yards.
I could have taken more but I am running out of room.
Its about 90-100 rounds
Yes I counted ;-)

I still haven't finished processing the stuff from the logging truck I hijacked https://www.hearth.com/econtent/index.php/forums/viewthread/83110/

My friend who has an old non epa stove took 30 yards also.
And theres probably another couple loads left.

I gotta stop...no I don't...yes you do...no you don't ....get more and more....
Oh sorry I typed the voices I hear in my head!

Keep listening to those voices in your head, nice score.

Now there is some nice wood Mike. Have you considered renting an empty lot? lol

Well theres always the other side of my property.
The side with all the flower beds and veggie garden.
Beautiful sunny spot..perfect for seasoning.
Oh wait...I like being married...never mind I'll stick to the garage side. :)

Looks like Sanford and Son's Junkyard, only filled with good firewood instead of junk, nice score !

Get it while you can . . . you never know when the source could dry up.

You got that right; take it while you can!

Yes if I were you I would definitely find space and get all the wood you can get. We cut trees on the side and it does dry up once in awhile, it all depends on who needs what done and when. Nice score, mike!!

Great score.
Gotta find a way to get/store more. At the price you are paying, FREE, :)

Is the Chevy buried under that wood somewhere?

Free is good! Just put the stacks on your driveway make a ramp with some more wood and pull your wheels right on top of it. Just gotta think outside the box is all.

WOW, a tree service that can actually make perpendicular cuts and buck to consistent length too. Almost unheard of!

Is that a leaner out back on the side? Maybe take that down and put a pile there

That was funny!

Actually, getting the Wood Gun and deciding to put it in the garage motivated me.
The two car garage was completely emptied out. Most of it was junk that I said "one day I will...."
Well that one day never came but the one day of throwing it out did.

So the chevy is sitting inside the nice and toasty, cleaned out garage.

Ahhh, sure feels good to get rid of junk.
The other stuff that wasn't junk went in the 10 x 20 shed I built in the back.

Oh yeah baby, thats a cherry tree that was leaning and is leaning even more since Irene.
It's gonna go really soon.
Never produces and edible cherries just a bunch of nasty berries that fall in my pool and stain my liner.

Nice wood you have.

This the 30 yards my friend got dumped at his house. For FREE also.

Probably some of the nicest bucked wood pics I've seen in a while. Just fine looking rounds. That would be a reason for me to buy a splitter...and a bigger stove...and a bigger house to put it in.

I cringe burning cherry. It is my one of my favorite carving woods. I toss cherry splits to the side for future wood projects.

OK you've gone to far!
That much "free delivered wood" is way past cheating, it's , it's it's well not fair. LOL
Great that the wood is getting put to good use.
Some nice rounds there, have fun splitting.
Make more room, burn more wood :)

I think the voices in my head are getting louder.
I might call my friend and see if there is any more rounds.

Sorry Dave,

Life's not fair, it just is.
And its all about who you know. ;-)

Now if I could only get him to split it and stack it for free....then I'd be really cheating.

Has the weather gotten any better up there?
Are you dug out yet?

Gettin a load of wood like that delivered for free on LI is dang near like hitting the powerball!!! Better play .

I did hit the powerball...He will do that for me all the time.

He doesn't process firewood any more.
In fact that is one of his splitters in my driveway.

He'd rather give it to me for free then pay to dump it or drive real far to dump for free.

Life is good.

My own words back at me LOL  "Life is"
Getting up to 30° , heat from the sun now, wind is blowing some of the snow away.
If he split & stacked it, when would you get to have some fun & exercise ? :)

Might be a business opportunity there if the supply of wood is steady. Couple of high schoolers that need some pocket money ;)
