Hey, I'm building a barn and there are leftover red oak scraps.

Are there any caveats to burning this stuff in my wood stove?

Where the builder sees scraps, I see BTUs...

I don't think it's treated with anything...
 
We built an addition onto the house last summer. All the scraps were saved for burning except for the pressure treated stuff. That got thrown into the trash.
 
Some of the best wood Ive burned is 20+ yr old red oak fence board/ locust posts that surrounds us. Ive planed a lot down to make our picture frames too.
