I promised to post some pictures of my stove install. The hearth turned out better than I imagined. There is one regret, but overall, it will get the job done and overall looks sharp. The stove was installed yesterday, so now I am trying a different bag of pellets each day until I find one that suits us. The first bag was terramigo and had a heavy pine scent, but burned fairly hot. Today I am on a bag of Pennington Natures Heat Pellets from Walmart. The don't seem to burn as hot, but have less of a smell. The smell could have been the stove paint curing, but it seemed to have the scent of heavy pine. I have ecoflame up next and plan to pick up a bag of platinum fire and rocky mountain pellets from dealers in the area.

Here are some pics.

Looks Nice.... Great job on the tile work.

You should be proud!!! Enjoy the heat !!

X2 on the surge protector. Spend a few bucks to protect your investment. Do a search here on surge protectors. Tripp Lite makes some good ones. Quite a few people here use them. (Not just a "Strip" from Wal-Mart for $6). These stoves have very delicate electronics. Best to run with caution.

Really nice job, looks great!

Thanks. I do have a surge/battery backup there pictured on the left side. I've moved it off the hearth as it gets rather hot that close to the stove. It is a APC Backups RS-1500 Battery Backup I had left over from a computer. Harman had specific models tested, but I figured I would try this one out. When I kill the power to the backup, the stove vent fan pulses to draw smoke out until the fire dies out. Seems to work fine. I definitely want to protect the stove from power issues.
