My son pushed the end of a pool noodle (the flexible, lightweight material that floats in water and can be bent into a number of shapes) on the glass of my wood stove. The stuff is polyethylene foam and it melted on the glass. Any suggestions on how to remove to from the glass? Sure smells nice.

Start with a razor blade when the glass is hot and go from there when cold.

Yep, carefully use a razor blade.
A suggestion - start from a cold stove. Allow glass to start warming and try to work at it. I would try to do this at the lowest temp possible simply due to burn hazard.

My grandson planted his tennis shoe clad foot up against the glass and instantly left a foot print on the glass. After trying unsecessfully to remove in with various ways, including a razor blade, I just left it and it eventually burnt itself off. My advice is to ignore it and just burn and see if it goes away.

Why do you have a woodstove in your pool room??

lol. it will probably burn off over time. Dog nose will...

I had the toe print of a shoe mysteriously appear on my stove glass as well a few weeks ago. After a week or so of 500 deg stove tops, it faded away.
