Father to my good high school buddy . . . I knew him well both growing up and since he was a good friend to our ATV Club as he attended our Landowner Appreciation Dinners and would even help us out without us even asking by grading or even moving and improving our trail system on his land.

I have seen his son who is still a bit in shock . . . needless to say it doesn't look like a very good week this week.
 
My condolences . . . he looked and sounded like a heck of a guy who knew how to live and raised a good son . . .
 
RIP... so sad to read stories like this. He was a true outdoorsman and unfortunately became a victim of an unforeseen accident.

Heard about this shortly after it happened, didn't realize you were close, Jake. Condolences to you and the family, Jake. We don't usually choose the time or place, but if I could, that wouldn't be a bad one.
 
This is a very sad tale. The family must be devastated. I'm being very selective lately about what I cut. None of us are immortal.
 
Sorry to hear that Jake. I just said a prayer for the the Lewis family.
