Last month I found out I (Yes I) had to keep the hopper filled or I got an error message telling me the stove will not work. Well last night is the last straw, I got an "Auger jam" error message. It was right after I filled the hopper. What is next? Will I find out that I have to take all them "ash things" out of the stove?
So after taking out all the pellets, I had to remove the side panel (4 screws). I then had to remove one screw (YES one whole screw)that held the auger in the auger tube. I then had to move some wires, what are they in there for? As I pulled out the auger there was all this "saw dust", where did that come from. This is a pellet stove and not a saw dust stove. Well I put the auger back in and put that one whole screw back in place. I replaced the side panel and had to walk all the way to the thermostat to hit the reset button. WTF People!!
