CB1200 - Surprise under the firepot!! - What is it?

Is that a blurry pic or is it me?


Hmmm, no clue it is not a Quad part.

Could it be a light from the previous owners? Something they used for cleaning?

Only thing under the pot is a linkage for your ash clean-out door and an ignitor.

in the drawing, what is the part that looks like its attached to the front of the burn pot?

its the only thing i see in the drawing that even looks remotely like what you are showing in the picture, the things in the right side of the picture almost look like light bulbs of some sort like LED's picture is too blurry to really make it out to start with. i have no idea what that thing is

Kids toy? I only say that because I'm still picking BBs, pennies, dogfood, World of Warcraft trading cards out of the stove I just got from a home where there were several kids.

That part is the ignitor.(part #34) slides into a holder in the front of the pot.

Na , Its a LED baseball hat that they sell in Lowe's or Home Depot.

It what's left of the stove's flux capacitor....it allows the stove to burn even Infernos with no problem.

Its one of those LED lamps I'm always wearing on my head...I must have misplaced that one...damn.

Im currently looking at a Harman Accentra 2 to replace my CB 1200 this Spring. Its a Brown enamel model with Cast Hearth Pad for $1,000..

Didnt really want a Harman. But damn thats cheap.

Funny, I have two out in the coop that are heavier than that, one must be more than 7 lbs, the other around 5 lbs. A Black Jersey Giant and a Plymouth White Rock.

We have a couple of heavy hens, too. When they jump to the floor from the roost, you'd think someone dropped sack of cement. They use their wings to break the fall some, but all that seems to do is raise a huge dust cloud. I love watching them, though. It's amusing and relaxing at the same time. And, I'm not the one who cleans the coop floor!

On topic - I wonder if you could cook a chicken in a pellet stove. Potatoes maybe, but a chicken...

It's an upgrade for Quads to convert them to HarmIns, so they can burn anything without adjustments.

The guys from CSI: Miami could tell you what it is, when it was put there, where it was made, what its made out of, and of course, through DNA tests, who put it there. Just sayin.......
