For west coast cutting you be fine! :p

Since you filed away the outer protective layer, you need to store the chain in cosmoline until you're ready to use it.

Did you use a micrometer and dial indicator on every tooth/raker? If not then there's no way you did it properly, your chain is junk and you should just buy a new one. %-P

the only way to tell is run it wide open and touch it to a steel pipe and if it sparks the you did it right.

LOL!!

Rob

Looks great if your going to put it on backwards
LOL :)

Wait, I'm confused? How long it take you sharpen blade on your saw? ;-P

The blade on my saw wasn't super dull so I hope it's ok to file it.

Do you think my saw is ruined?

If my saw is ruined, where can I get another one?

Husqy or Stihl? I need at least 60cc and only have $150.

Ideas?

Wal-mart sells lots of new saws.

Just port and muffler mod your Wild Thing. Should run a 24" bar no problem then.

I dont even see the pics?

But i would second the Wild thing at Walmart and port it and turn up the fuel!!
Also take the air filter off so it can breathe better!!

I'm a little slow . . . but I think that's the point . . . and the running gag of this very amusing thread . . . Big Redd doesn't post many/any photos.

You need to clean out your gullets better.
