Hello

Still have not found this brush but came VERY close!!

I stopped into the North Hampton NH Hearth Shoppe and asked for a Pellet Stove Ash Brush.

He showed me exactly what I was looking for and told me he purchased it at Home Depot in Hampton.

So I went there. They just put their stove accessories in storage but the woman there was very helpful. I described it to her and shee looked everywhere but not to be found.

So I want back to the Hearth Shoppe and ask to take a pic. The woman there was very obliging!

Here it is in the pic below!! Has anyone ever seen this at a Store or Web Site where it can be purchased??

I got one very similar to that one with my Enviro back in 2004 and haven't been able to find another one like it since. So when you find yours. make sure you post it.

What about a basting brush for a grill?

I have seen this brush on websites selling Enviro parts they want something like 30 bucks for it. :bug: not worth that kind a money.

Got that right!

I've been looking for years for a brush like the one I got with the Enviro. Long twisted wire handle with long bristles.

The brush I posted is the one from the kit Don posted at the beginning. Haven't found one with a wire handle yet.

Yes, that is just like the one in the kit but that one does have steel bristles. Better than nothing!

I would still like to find the one with the wire handle if possible, the bristles are not steel but they are pretty rugged and do not scratch painted surfaces.

Hello

Maybe I should give these people a call?
http://www.gordonbrush.com/contact.php

So far I've only found the brush at brush manufacturer's websites where you either the public can're by them or you need to order a bulk shipment. Couldn't hurt to call one, they might at least be able to tell you where you might find one.

Dont use many brushes. Just a dryer lint brush (not pictured) and these 2 brushes.

One goes on the Shop Vac and the other is a wire Brush for the burn pot.

I have a stiff bristle brush for the burn pot.

For the rest I take a Dollar Store paint brush and trim the bristles half way down for firmness. Those last about a tons worth, then I make another.

Here is what I use. It's a Hake style water color brush. I find that the black China bristle (mix of dog and hog hair) lasts the longest, but the the thin profile of the brush is great for between exchangers, under impeller blades and the furthest hidden profile of any Harman heat exchanger. Great brushes are made by Luco and are easy to find at Michaels, Dick Blick and other various sources. I go through one about every 2 years if you get a a sturdy ferule. It's my #1 most used tool except for maybe my vac.
