Just wanted to say that this site has been a huge help for this pellet stove newbie :cheese: I have had some growing pains with this Englander stove but the fine people here and the customer service over at England's Stove Works have kept me on the straight and narrow, not to mention, keeping me from returning the stove prematurely. I will try to add some pics.... I know....no pics, it didn't happen

Welcome to the Forums.

Love the Avatar... Englander makes a very solid product at an affordable price. Hard to do these days.

Im sure the longer you live with the stove. The more you will appreciate keeping it. Especially one with a Large Hopper, as the PAH has.

Great bunch of people here.

Welcome. Maybe you already know this, but there is an England's Stove Works employee who's a member of these forums, and regular contributor. His name is Mike Holton, and his username is stoveguy2esw. Mike's a great guy, always eager to help anyone with an Englander stove-related question or problem. Don't hesitate to shoot him a PM if you need some assistance. Rick

Welcome to the forum! I'm actually just curious as to what problems you were having with your stove and any resolutions you got to with the problems.

Well... one month into running this stove I experienced random shutdowns, not just losing the flame, all the blowers would stop working. Sure, I would get those random times that the stove would lose fire...but this thing had a mind of its own. In losing the flame the stove would just keep feeding pellets until I unplugged the stove...not cool :blank: It woke to find atleast 10lbs of unburnt pellets in the burn pot and ash pan. The worst part was the complete shutting down of the blowers...and this happened with a full on fire inside, filling the house with smoke. A quick call to ESW and they shipped me a new control board, no more shutdowns. On one of my many trips to this forum, I realized that the installer didn't add the 3ft vertical rise to the exhaust system. I now have that remedied and should help draw the smoke out during power failures. The only other problem I've had was with the room blower...it was making an ungodly waa-waa-waa sound, sounded like a Huey helicopter was landing in the living-room :gulp: ESW replaced the blower...all better now.

Wow...that is crazy? I'm glad you got it straightened out....IMO, ESW really is second to none in customer service......despite the problems, what do you think of your stove overall? Before I got my new one I sort of considered PAH but just really liked the look of the EP a little better.......so far, I love my stove....

Welcome, You have come to a great place. Lots of ESW owners and Mike Holton also comes here to pitch in.

Enjoy! :)

I like the stove alot, even though I have to clean the burn pot and ash pan everyday, it's not a hard chore to do. I do like the look of your EP a little bit more, mine is kinda boxey looking but, I love the 120lb hopper and it heats my entire house. I have not used a single drop of heating oil all winter. :cheese:

Thanks for the pics, and welcome to the forum. Nice looking stove & install. :)
