I just built a 40"D x 96"W x 85"T pellet shed, and I hope to fill it up in the spring with discounted pricing on pellets.
I am confident that the moisture should not affect the pellets. I am going to add vents to provide air flow.
Best deal was the brand new, pre-hung exterior outward opening door cost only $10.86!
Now to find a door knob cheaper than the door!

Looks good.

How much tonnage can it hold?

I am guessing maybe two to three ton.

Pellet pillow maybe?
I have a good sized garage for that too, I just need a second cheap pellet stove to heat it and I am out there!

Rough guess is about $250.00. You might need to build a door yourself at that price (My door was $10.86.)

I used pressure treated 2"x6" 10" On Center for the base.
2x6's were used and laying in the back yard.

I used 2x3's for studs, cheaper than 2x4's, and also gained about 2" on the interior dimensions.

If I could have built it using all leftover materials, I would have...I'm cheap!

Shed looks nice. I hope you don't have any flooding issues in your area.... make sure to put a pallet on the floor before filling with pellets.

I just learned that lesson this winter, when I realized the bottom bags a little moist.

Nice shed, Bill.

I built this 12x16 from a kit in the fall, but not for pellet storage. Matched the siding to my house as well.

No flooding problems, and the floor is built from 2x6 placed on a concrete pad.
My basement would flood long before the shed floods.
