I saw this at a winter show the other day, the blade was massive at least 6' long! Gorgeous unit...

I thought I would share


It is an 880 btw (pics are not best)

I run a 40" bar on my 084 which is the dad of that saw. Same basic saw but that one is "new and improved". According to STIHL it has the same HP but it is configured a bit different. I will tell you from first hand experience it will wear you out, but nothing cuts better in the big wood....
 
That thing ought to have to have license plates. :ahhh:

Yep, I'd much rather have a ported 660 with a 36" full skip. Not much you couldn't do with it and at a lot less weight. But then again, the 880 is meant to be attached to a mill.
