Feeling the Heat
Tractor supply has both for 185 a ton. Which do you prefer for that price and how do these compare to somersets?

I can't comment on the Greenways, but the ProPellets aren't bad. My experience is that they are a bit less consistent than Somersets...typically a bit more ash....not a huge difference in heat. Maybe grab a few of each for a test burn if you have Somersets as a baseline?

I've burned both, and the Greenways are the better pellet, by a pretty decent margin. I wish I could get them this year. One of the "sleeper" pellets last year.

burned 10 bags of greenway last season and the were a great pellet for me.great heat and burned clean.havnt tried thr pro pellet

Greenways are great IMHO. I've burned 5 tons between this year and last and have two more tons on the floor. An excellent pellet.

This season I switched to Greenway from burning 3 tons of Lignetics last year. By comparison, Greenway burns cleaner and hotter, but quicker, too. Hands down far less ash and fines with Greenway, which supposedly have no softwood content. I haven't tried Somerset - sorry.

Burning greenways now,Had 2 tons of somersets to start.
I'd say Greenways are real close to somersets.Burn hot,
very little ash.$185.00 a ton is a good price too :)Do all tsc's have them
on sale or just the one by you??

Burn Greenways myself. I get them 200 a ton. They are made within driving range of where I live.

Good heat, little ash, bagged really good.

My local tsc have Nature's Energy which is worse then ass meat.

Unfortunately, all the TSC's in the area described by Letsblaze did not have Greenways. I called 5 different stores and all the people acted like they never heard of these pellets when I asked if they had Greenways. Obvioulsy, whatever store had them must not have had much. Too bad I really wanted to try them based on the good reviews. Looks like all sources of cheaper pellets has dried up for me due to word getting out. So it goes!
