I think he was just having a little fun, I don't detect any sarcasm.
 
No problem here!! I am just a liitle whiny the last few days..just got the 60 staples out of my arm from surgery! Ugh.. not too painful now, just annoying! at least the stove is running great and it 60 degrees here...

OUCH!!!!! You do know that the auger is run by an electric motor, right? The vacuum switch allows current to pass through it and to the auger motor. It was just very confusing the way the initial posts were written. I wasn't sure if you actually thought it was a vacuum motor or if the service guy told you that.

Sorry about the post..Yes, i knew the auger was electric. But, the first thing the tech did was check the vacuum switch , since it was the old design( he said the old ones have a terrible gasket) and he replaced it and the stove started working great!!

BTW..i am healing..slowly but surely..gald i's the winter!! LOL
