If the economy doesn't pick up I might find myself
living in one of those. Kidding - I hope. lol.
Cool little shack tho.

$8,000K, err I mean $6,000K - ouch!

If I told my wife that I needed to spend $6,000 on an 'ice shanty fishing shack', then it would definitely need to be insulated seeing as I'd be spending the rest of the Winter in it!

Doesn't look all that big though?

My Dad built several of them over the years, has since more or less retired from ice fishing though. They were big enough to fit at least 5-6 guys. I remember one of them had 2 benches on each side and a small wood stove between them against the wall. The cabin was probably about 8x8 in size. We always drew straws on who would have to sit on the bench near the stove cause your legs would be burning after a bit.

Would not cut it in our neck of the wood, no big screen TV and sat dish, bunks for 6, kitchen, etc.

So very true. You guys really take your ice fishing seriously. With 1/2 the year being winter, I guess I understand why! lol

It went the same way as sitting in a cave rubbin two sticks together for heat.

Well, looks like he's got a great ice shack that he can write off as a bizness expense, how can ya go wrong??? Probably got 6-800 bucks tied up in it, if it sells, build bigger & better next year.

You could only have used it for about 2 weeks here in CT. I think they are heating the lakes now?

Maybe, But I'll deny having anything to do with it or keeping the waters warmer so our Northern largemouth bass grow at the same rate as the florida strain. Not to mention all the shad I released laced with super growth hormons! Can you say world record?? :cheese:
