We look to be having our largest snow since October 30th - about 10 inches or so predicted......just when I thought we were safe.........Cheers!

Head up north we already had some. I actually used my snowshoes this weekend up in Milan

6 - 10 predicted for NY's Capital District, with maybe some
freezing rain in the mix. Looks like I might hafta fire up the
snowblower for the first time since "winterizing" it in October.
DOT will have a FIELD DAY with their salt trucks, dammit. The
amount of salt they're gonna put on the roads will take a
coupla really good rainstorms to disperse. Looks like the Ultra
can stay in the garage for the near future...Harley-Davidson
chrome loathes salt...

you guys see this?? its like white ash falling from the sky. what does it mean?? is the end near? should i round up all the livestock?

Snow in NH. Who'd of thunk that? The local weathermen must be going zonkers.

On the bright side, I may actually get a day's worth of use out of my new snow tires this winter before it all melts again.

In Newbury NH

Darn it . . . the Mayans were right . . . the Apocalypse is finally here.

Actually as much as I like snow I kind of had it in my head that the plowing days were done . . . and sadly right now my ATV is broke.

Freaking media....my Mrs's was watching the national news this morning, and they had a reporter in Worcester, MA where I work and were acting like the sky was falling...there was about 2 inches of snow on the ground at the time. Must be a slow news day for the national media to report on a winter snow storm that might give us 6 inches of snow.

no worries everyone...I bought 7 gallons of milk and 14 loaves of bread....I'm all set. In just a few moments I'm gonna bundle up and head into the lower level to wait out the storm. Its pandamonium out there! On the "up-side" the snow is really slowing down the zombies.

we got 34 inches last week you can have it lol just unburied

Where abouts are you in VT? I drove from Brattleboro to Burlington, and on the ride up there was no snow on the ground, and maybe 4 inches on the way home

The northern part of VT got pounded last weekend. I'm less than an hour from Burlington and we got 20-25 inches, Burlington got 2. Jay Peak got over 40" supposedly.
