Thanks Gamma for allowing me to submit the SOTW. This week's theme is the Devil. In song he has worn a blue dress, gotten our sympathy, and lost a famous contest in Georgia, but did you know he also went to Jamaica?

Ladies and gentlemen, making their debut on SOTW, the Muppets.

 J.S. That was a good video. Thanks.

I don't like war. The Devil is referred to as Satan in this. And he is laughing, as he spreads his wings. If you have never heard this song, or don't know the lyrics. They are hear for you. Pretty rockin tune.

Gamma- you should make next SOTW "local music"- I love seeing smaller bands doing original tunes.

Friggin great idear AP....next week it is Flatbed's turn...I already promised him that...
then we should all take a turn and "showcase" a local band from your area performing their original chit....
That will be the bomb... ;-)

So everybody better start lookin for some good local chit to post dammit...that is your homework burnerz...

I'll try to remember to video some band practice...we play some really original stuff....mostly I just make the words up as we go. We pick a "style", like..."lets do this one in the style of ABBA" and then we get the disco/funk beat a-goin', then the bass (like the fish) kicks in, and then the banshee wail begins and its a partay....wait, Gamma wants "good local chit"...we're not that "good".....I'll keep lookin.

I think she meant local acts that still play local. Renée Fleming sings at my place of work down here in NYC now.
