OK, I assume you have a photo editing app on your phone? If you do, and you made the pic smaller and it still didn't upload, try logging off of Hearth.com and clearing your cache on your phone (in the settings folder). Log back onto your google account, back onto Hearth.com, and retry to send the pic. Should work that way. Don't ever try to send a pic too large on your phone until you have made it smaller. It will be a pain to upload if you have to try again and again. Because the large version of your pic is cached in your phone's browser. Give it a try and let us know how you make out...James02 said:I've got a droid 2, I tried put it up and didn't get the error saying it was too big....but it didn't attach.

Same with me. Not only pics but videos as well. Actually it is easier to do from my phone than the computer if you ask me!!DexterDay said:babzog said:It's the same on most forums - cannot attach photos using a phone. 90% of my photos come from my Phone.

What phone do you have? On the Droid X2, the first thing you will need is a photo editing app. Lots of free ones in the app store, pick one of those and download it. Next, pick the pics you want to use and edit them down to the size required by Hearth.com. Then, go the Hearth.com, and upload the edited pictures. The "choose file" button takes a second or two, sometimes. if you already tried to load an oversized picture, you will have to clear your cache on your browser, you can do that in the Settings mode. If you don't do that, you'll never get the pics to upload. Only try to upload pics AFTER you resize them, otherwise your browser will keep trying to send the oversized picture and it will not work.Diabel said:Please share how you do it!! I looked through the settings and oils not find anything.
My "choose file" button looks disabled....
Yeah I can't help ya on the iPhone. Contact Webmaster, maybe he can walk you through it. Maybe once this site is switched over to the new format next week it will be a little easier. I'm hoping that Craig eventually comes out with a Hearth.com app. Now THAT would be the cat's meow!!Diabel said:iPhone will gives you an option on the size of pic you want to create.
I could not do it with my ald iPhone and still cannot do it with my we iPhone
It is not the phone, it is something in my settings on this forum
Yeah with these smart phones so amazingly fast, the computer seems to be nothing more than a dust collector around my house anymore! have a good one!Diabel said:Thanks, this is not a big deal at all!
If I really want to share pics here I just go to my computer, which is a good thing once in a while
