The F5100 is due out in the coming months.

I'm thinking this unit will exceed the listed 24 hour burn time pretty easily. We should know more details very shortly. I'll also have one of these up and burning as soon as it hits our dock.

Note: Everyone expected this unit to be designated F4100. I would bet they are planning a smaller catalytic stove to fit between this and the F3100.

Ah ha! Another hybrid stove joins the race.

That's a bad lookin' dude! I can't wait for people to start burning them. Anybody have firebox LxWxH yet? 27" split is long, I hope that is e/w not n/s.

Certainly much better looking than a BK! But the BK is rate at what 90-100 Lbs of wood. And this one just 60? Somehting is amiss here.

Their website says corner to corner 27".

"If" that's the diagonal and it's a square box that's right around 19" n/s, e/w.

Sweet. That's a serious looking heater. But the marketing hype should be dropped. I can squeeze a 24" log into the T6 diagonally, but I would never say it is a 24" log stove.

Loading diagonally isn't going to fill the firebox to capacity by a long shot. I don't even understand why they would advertise that as the max split length. E-W is tough enough. N-S is what really matters, IMO (I wish my Liberty was 1"-2" deeper N-S). 8" flue will certainly be an important consideration for both retrofit and new installation. Nice looking stove. Rick

Any idea on expected retail? I like it, wonder if they'll have a big hybrid insert.

Their ad agency must do ads for TV companies too.

I think I'd stick with the F3100...Unless this has a higher efficiency rating, the heat output is the identical. 8" Class A isn't cheap, either...ICC got about $320 for a 4-footer, & that was in early 2011. I doubt that's gone down...

Yeah, not sure how that works.

The 3100 is 2.9 cu ft. What would the 4100 be? 3.5? Would it have a 6" collar? Not saying you know, just wondering.

And can you get it with legs, like a stove is meant to have? ;)

Except it isn't. a 4.2 cu ft firebox will output more heat than a 2.9 cu ft fire box.

I'm guessing it would be some where around that. Maybe even a 3.0 with the same catalytic system with a 6" flue, 18 hour burn times?

Thankfully, legs will be available.

There is also rumored to be a large Hampton freestanding stove in the works. Looks like it will be 2013 at the earliest.

Also, expect all of the regency wood stoves to get refreshed with this style door/front.

This stove is aimed right at Blaze King. FPI was benchmarking this unit against BK models in house.

I'd have to measure, but I bet my old Lopi dragon is close that big! BAM!! Love it!

I did just measure and the 30-NC will take one exactly 27" diagonally.

Looks like cat stoves are making a come back.
Good looking stove but too big for my house.

Hmmm, wonder if they'll make an insert version?

Do you have to sharpen the ends of a 27" split to make it fit?

This will be interesting. There are other similarly sized cat stoves out there. I believe the key to BK's success is a precise air control. We'll see if this one has it.

Wonder how deep the fire box is? I think the deep BK fire box contributes to the long burns.

My old Magnolia made a diagonal claim about log length too.

Woo hoo. I just got out the tape measure and it looks like I have been upgraded to a 27" stove overnight. That was easy. My back doesn't even hurt.
