Ordered 3 tons standard MWP from SIB to be delivered on Tues. $215/ton delivered.
Also ordered 1 ton of MWP Softwood which should be available next month. $235 not sure about delivery charge.

With how warm this last winter was, I'm only going to need to order 3 tons for next year ..

I let my dealers early buy deadline pass. Hope it wasn't a mistake.

Congratulations on the early buy. Having what you need ahead of time is nice...

I had about 10.5 ton at the start of the season. After what I burned, traded, and gave away (gave Dad a ton for B-day), I will have 7 left (maybe a lil less, just a little though).

At the rate we burned this season, I still have almost 3 yrs worth. We only burned 2 ton this year. But also burned 3 cord of wood... (1st yr w/ wood eater).

Congratulations. I grabbed 3ton of Natures Own from Lowes to stock up for next year. Wil have to grab
3 ton more by sept.

I'm going to let my supply run low and buy again in the fall. I don't want them to get damp sitting in the cellar all summer even though we do have a dehumidifier down there

Just ordered 3 ton of PWI from Southern Maine Renewable Fuel today. Just want to get this done, I am concerned if the price of oil goes over $4.00 we will have 2008 all over again, plus now it is out of the way. I will order some MWP from SIB also to round things out. Ordered last spring and had no problem with them in the cellar over the summer.

They should he fine. As long as there is no direct contact, then they will be good to go....

I'm not saying to go buy 5 ton. But if you see a good deal now (Spring/Early Buy Sales) I would think about getting some. Back in 08-09 Pellets were a little harder to come by and much more expensive. One never knows what will happen 6 months from now. Just sayin... ;)

You were able to order the softwood even though he doesn't have them yet? When they come in will you need to take delivery right away?

Lessoil I have been using the MWP for shoulder pellets. The MWP I get seem to be real small pieces in each and every bag. Are yours that size. The majority of my pellets are less than 1/2" in length.

I spoke with Steve on Fri. He said nothing about the Softwoods. I ordered on Sat. The girl who took my order told me about the Softwoods.
Will see Steve tomorrow. Will get more info for you. Sounds like they have a certain target for the size of this run. Last I knew they were not
goung to bother as the tests showed similar results to the standard product. We are going to get a second stove for the basement. (Englander)
Ordered the Softwoods in case the new stove doesn't get along with the standard pellet. Also wanted to try them in the P61.

I think the ones we ordered for this pass Season were longer than that. They are now gone so cannot verify. We are burning the last 25 bags left over from 2010-2011(Green tree on bag) and are the size you mentioned..

We have had good luck storing in the basement. Also run dehumidifier. I stack the pellets on pallets.

Ordered 3 tons of Granules LGs from Great Works Bio Fuels in Berwick, ME. All stacked in the garage along with 2.6 tons of CleanFire Pacifics and .6 tons of Maine' Choice. That gives me 6.1 tons for next winter, should take me into the following winter as well.

I dont know of any places we can pre order here and get a discount... most places just stop ordering untill fall and wont lower prices untill late april

Steve from SIB just left. The MWP Softwood run will be happening and yes he is taking orders. The run has a target of 3,000 tons. Should be available
next month. So now have 3 tons to put away. $215 delivered and the Softwoods will be $235 delivered.

6 tons of mwp blend arriving here on the 24th.
my goal is to eventually always have 6 tons surplus in addition to what i need for the current season.

right now the house is getting sided, all window frames getting sealed with expanding foam, tyvec wrap going on, and extra insulation above the back bedroom going in.
would maybe have ordered a ton of the mwp softies had i known. but we did well this year with this old drafty house with boards sheathing it and shakes over that.

with the ridiculous gaps around the windows (that i can now see and put my fingers in with the shakes off) getting fixed, i think 3 tons will be easily doable for me next season.
i'm in the middle of the fourth ton now and we had no oak half of this year. as well as the above mentioned issues.

I have 2 tons of Lignetics (green bags) and 1 ton of Hamers. I might pick up 2 or 3 more Hamers when I think they hit bottom

I'm still waiting to hear from my dealer onpre pricing. I have 2 ton of Turmans left from this year yet, so I only need 2 more.
