For a piece of mind more than anything....I have three tons of PWI , one ton of ME Woods Mixed and two tons of ME Woods Softwood coming at the end of April. This way its done and I can enjoy my summer not thinking about this....

I just wish we could see the Cubex at 230/ton like 2 seasons ago......

Got a ton of Stove Chow at the Home Depot for 184.00 a ton. I can get a ton of Hammers for 240.00 a ton now and I'm told they will go on sale in the spring..... There is much less demand down south then you yankees have to deal with.

no shortages of raw materials in this region, but Fuel will play a factor in prices per ton.

If anyone is interested, I am going to sell my Spruce pointe's for $4 p/bag...I have between 35-40 left.

Thanks, I was just getting in line in case you didn't purchase them. I'm not here to piss anyone off I'm here to learn and perhaps meet some new friends along the way. Cheers :)

Wow, pellet drama. At least it turned out o.k. :) Next thing you it will be Pellet Wars or something like that for reality T.V.

We have pellet wars going on in northern Michigan, right now. Menards is advertising $3.38/bag or $169/ton. Homedepot is at $3.78/bag and Lowes is at $3.55/bag. Now, I need to get to town and see what each store has in stock.

No doom and gloom yet, big guy.

wow I cant even buy Blazers here for 169 a ton from plant , and clean burns are 199.00 a ton... so if I can find any worthy pellets around here for close to that I am gonna get me 5 ton for next season.

If there were shortages this winter being so mild, i dont like the looks of next year

Hamer, Barefoot and Turmans(there were more as well) could not keep up even with a mild winter. Could you imagine if we got slammed? The word is more of the same for availability for next season.

The log to chip pellets may not be as high and tight as the dust pellets, But they will be available to get us through. Best bang for the buck so far in the early season deals I am seeing,

Let's see if Lowes drops the price a bit up here, currently at $219/ton.
