Hi all,
Having an issue with my XXV feed auger ,all three lights Igniter,Feed Motor and Combustion Blower are on.The auger does not feed.Tried test mode, still no feed (and Feed Motor,Combustion Blower and Distribution Blower lights on) No blinking in Status light.

Last time it ran,two weeks ago it used all pellets in hopper. I have cleaned it and double checked the seal on the hopper lid.

What next should I check ?

thanks

Check to see if the pellets may have caused a bridge so that they don't drop, happened to me with some long pellets.

I did empty the hopper out and then put a few back in,the door at the bottom is closed and motor is not turning the auger as far as I can see with the panel off. The lights (including the Feed Motor are one.
Wondering if the motor is shot as its getting power.
How do get the auger out,the front bolts or from behind?

thanks

Check your fines box first. It has the feeder slide plate in it, could be full preventing the auger from turning,

Hi,

I did pull that apart and it was ok,then I went ahead and pulled the auger (would have been a good bit easier if they gave you a) more wire,b) some clearance for the arm to get under the middle of the back sheet metal). That seems to have done the trick ! Must have had something jammed in that auger, it took a solid tap with the hammer and a extension to knock it free.

Thanks all for your responses and happy to back in business

Thanks all !

I will say my wife mentioned how much quieter it was when we ran it last night ans she is right.Thats the first time I had that auger out-its 4 "winta's since it was new, and I might do it every year-as well as sand that feeder tube, as part of my yearly cleaning.
