true bulk trucks... what is the standard drop off..into a silo or a basement "bin" like in the days of coal?

I've seen the corn burner silo's when I was in amish country ... I was wondering what suburban homeowner used.
maybe a ton bag in the basement and shovel it in

Probably would not be any dealers on Long Island with those trucks. If I could save $ buying bulk, I would definitely build a pellet crib in the basement and move the pellet vacuum down there for cleaning. Then I would use my pellet shed that I built for other crap.

The stupid thing is that dealers don't get a price break for buying them from the factory in bulk... at least the company I deal with so there is no incentive to try and deliver in bulk. I thought it would be great for making deliveries.
