19 here this morning, 65ish inside, comfortable yes

20's here, But was toasty warm inside. Stove has been ready since Saturday night JIC. Last I knew its just March, Did we all get spoiled with the last few weeks of warmth??

We'll prolly get blasted one last time with the white chit before its all said and done!

YES
Forgot to check the stove last night, ran out some time overnight.
Was 70::F in the house this morning and the entire family was whining.

70f . "oh the humanity!" :)

18 degrees right now and looking at 15 overnight tonight.
frankly i'm happy about it. not ready to lose the flames in the living room quite yet.

Move along now nothing to panic about, it was 17 degrees above the record low for this date here. It is just March and it was a lot warmer than -11 it has reached in the past 3 months. My birds are out playing and didn't complain to loudly about hard water.

Saw the upper 20's last night, but enjoyed a toasty 72 in the house. And it was good to sleep with the sound of fans running again - much too quiet when the stove is off.

We have an F and F warning here. Frost and Fire, been doing yard work and the soil is like powder due to the lack of moisture. Had the XXV and Encore cooking, nice and toasty inside while the winds outside make it feel in the teens.::F

I knew last weeks weather was too good to be true, the stoves were cleaned and ready for the temps to drop. Usually do not shut down the stoves until the 2nd or 3rd week in April.

Me and my girl are ready for this, 100_1473.jpg100_0751.jpg

24° here this morning.

Always ready for the Cold... Im doing the opposite of what most folks do when they retire. Im headin North. I Love the Cold. ;)

Oh oh. ;lol

OMG! I put the second bag in today. That wind is sucking the heat out of everything. Even found the top layer of ground frozen this morning. The was a half inch of ice in the dog's pool.
So many plants with that "cooked spinach" look. They will being turning black, then brown once things thaw some. Bird feeders took a hard hit today. I keep 4 of them going. This might be normal, but it sure doesn't feel normal, and sorry Dex, but not to my liking. You are welcomed to all of it any time you want. While in the service, I lived away. Many times where palm trees grew. I can't say I ever missed not having snow. I did miss the fall foilage, but never the ice and backbreaking shoveling.

I'm with you Save$. I was stationed in Hawaii and wasn't crazy about warm weather at Christmas. As I get older, I have a hard time dealing with the cold and snow. I'll take all the heat I can.

Yep, 24::F here this morning, but I was ready....a half bag of my newly acquired Chow in the hopper.....nice & cozy this morning when I got up. I'll be keeping the stove in that condition until about the end of April or so....just in case. ;)

Cold rain tomorrow here, changing to snow tomorrow night. 1-3 inches predicted. Somehow I feel like this won't be the last either.

Yup the house got down to 69::F about 7 last night with drizzle outside and I hear "Are you gonna' light the stove you know the oil won't kick in till it's 68::Fin here". The house never got above 68 before I got the stove. And she fought me all the time I put it in, 1 mild winter later she's cold if it ain't 75.

Seal and insulate now avoid the rush, keep the missus from using the cast iron skillet upside your head or worse like throwing out your pellet stash.

Keep the home fires lit.
