Believe this was the last tax season for it anyway. ;lol Don't be surprised if you receive a IRS form 1099 from HHT though.

Seriously will I receive tax documents and have to claim it?

Oh well, will just have to start racking up my deductions.;)Small price to pay for a free stove and install.

Well the Accentra was just installed and is currently running its 2 hour break in burn. The installers were very professional and did a great job. Here are the pics to prove it. Photo 3.jpgPhoto 1.jpg

Very Nice..... Love those stoves. Congratulations

(Surge Protector?) ;)
Yea, I know. I need to get one for this stove, I have one on the Quad. The installers plugged it in like this, so not really my mistake.

Quick question for Harman owners. I shut the stove off at 12:00 noon, at 2 PM when I wanted to clean it, the combustion blower was running yet. I thought maybe it was the room blower, but the combustion blower light was lit. Any input on why this would still be running 2 hours later?

I was just razzin ya. I know you know better......

(But really, get one on there ;) / again I am joking / but seriously it needs it ;) )

Congratulations. I would be ecstatic to win something that nice and expensive. You have to be stoked to have 2 stoves now ;)

Did the Mt. Vernon heat your house by itself? Or did it struggle in the far areas? (Im to lazy to go back and read, if it was written) This should be the icing on the cake. Lucky........

I had that same problem in my Pelpro Bay View. Turns out it was the SCRs on the control board were fried from a power surge or something like that. Anyway, it was only $289.00 for a new control panel and it plugged right in!

Not sure on the Harman but my 1st thought is the ESP probe. That is usually an issue. It may just be dirty.

Sometimes my P61A will continue feeding at a low rate, like 5 seconds out of every minute, for a half hour or more after I turn it off. Once it does shut down the combustion blower will continue to run for almost an hour while the stove cools. Maybe yours did the same on the first burn???

Mine runs for awhile after I shut it off also. Usually about an hour or so. Depends on the amount of pellets that are still in the burn pot.

The Mt. Vernon did do a good job heating the whole house. It is on my lower level of my bi-level home. Our upstairs bedrooms are in the farthest end of the house from the Mt. Vernon. Downstairs was at around 80 degrees to get the bedrooms at 70. Of course my wife and daughter where still cold. So hopefully, I can turn down the AE to 70 downstairs and the Accentra should keep the upstairs warmer. I am hoping with running the 2 at lower settings, that I may still use around the same amount of pellets.

The installer had her running at 90 degrees for 2 hours, so it was still warm 2 hours later, so I assume this is what it was doing. Running to continue to cool the stove down. Thanks for all your replies.

I don't know anything about the Accentra, but if the controls are the same as the P series, here's a cleaning tip. Before cleaning, turn the feed rate dial all the way counter clockwise to TEST. This will turn on the combustion blower and discharge the ash and dust stirred up out the exhaust instead of into the room.

The harman stoves do take alot longer to shut down then a quad or any other stove i know of. THat being said congratz!

Thanks for the info, I think I mastered the Quad, now I need to start all over with the Harman.
I found out tonight that Harman wants to send someone here to take a pic of me with the stove for a press release on their website. That was part of the agreement to enter the contest.
