We are and i am sure some of you are getting hammered tonight with a late season snow. Just when you think its safe to shut down the stove.......

No snow here in the Midwest but a cold rain has prevailed for a couple of days. Fired up the stove last night to remove the chill from the downstairs family room. Felt good. High temp today is a forecasted wet 57*. Might even fire it up today as I will be hanging some doors and shelves in our new downstairs bath. Possible frost tonight.

Weather doesn't look good for the next few days. Glad I didn't shut the stove down for the season. Only a few bags left so I might as well burn them.

The next week or so doesn't look very warm here either!!

no snow here yet but the tops of the hills have some "non-color". At 11:30 AM it is 41F. Stove running and it feels nice.

Not looking so good here either. It's 45, but feels like 35. It's 70 in the house right now, but the games coming on and I think the fire will be too.

No snow here either, but the outside temp is only 50, so the stove is running on 1-3 to keep the chill out. Supposed to be like this for 2-3 days, with LOTS of rain.

38 here now and they say snow tonight maybe an inch or so an hour and 12+ through tomorrow sometime, I think that is almost as much as we got all year.

it's 50 here and I' thinking of breaking in the LAST BAG I have in the garage..

Rainy and low 50's here. We needed the rain , but not all at once.

Cool and wet out, not unusual for most Aprils, but this one has been an exception. But my dependable stove is keeping us nice and warm. It is amazing how easily the house is kept comfortable in this type of weather. Still trying to burn up the last of those not so favorite.

the last bag is in and burning....
and bought a bag of Penningtons dung heaps ..

6 bags left. Don't think I can get through without getting more right away. The shed is almost done so I get to start working on "piglet" status.

No snow here in NE PA (yet), grass needs cutting again and the stoves been off for 2 months now

Id consider the boston infernos at 2.50 a bag in comparison with the penningtons

We got maybe 6 to 8 inches hard to tell it was melting as it hit the pavement but had 5 or so on the cars this morning and it snowed all day.

We had snow here 2 weeks ago, but it is 85 F. here today! Supposed to get cooler later in the week though...

but warm weather is coming your way from the west...

Just received a frost warning for tonight here in the Hudson Valley, and also a large part of the rest of the state. Most of Mass. & Ct. have warnings too.

I knew it was too early to do the final cleaning.

Just threw a bag of Ligs in the hopper....stove is purring along at 3-3. :)
