This Saturday we finished up a big norway maple that we started two weeks ago. It was a 34" diameter trunk, around 70' high with three top trunks (one with a heavy lean over the house), four power/TV/phone lines running through it, was a major pain in the a$$. We did all the limbs that were intertwined in the power lines two weeks ago, and tackled the big tops this past Saturday. Rigged the tops and pulled them backwards onto the neighboring embankment. Still have a big silver maple in the backyard (6-20" diameter trunks ALL intertwined in the power/phone lines), but we made out really well on this job. Ended up with 6 truckloads like the on in the picture out of the norway. This will be wood for 2016. Yes I'm that far ahead.....
