Was wondering if I need to get one from the dealer or is there some after-market application. I was able to salvage it the last time I removed the pot but will definitely need to replace it next time.

You can use the flat gasket with adhesive back that you would use on glass. I think it's called window channel and you should be able to get it at hearth shop or hardware store.

I was wondering why you removed your burn pot, but the flat gasket is a good choice we have done it where i work a few times out in the field when we have nothing else :)

Yep... I used a standard 1/2" or 5/8" Flat gasket or Tape gasket. I do it to all my stoves. Even the stoves that dont have a gasket and just sit inside the receptacle/liner.
On my Fahrenheit and my CPM, I put the gasket on the receptacle/liner, on my Quad I installed it on the bottom of the pot. Because its round, you only make one cut. Unlike a square receptacle. That needs 4 pieces. I used high temp (750°) RTV and its at the end of the 2nd season. Still on the bottom and looks like day one...

Here is my CPM. I would put the gasket on the pot for the Quad. 2012-04-14_17-58-58_725.jpg

Got my new pot and in the mail yesterday. Gonna have Tim at work weld some plates on the side and the front. To stop pellets from bouncing and burning in front of the pot. An extra inch should do it.
