Hey people,
I have recently acquired a 1992 Pellet Master PM 5000.
After browsing the forums I found the wiring diagrams (Thanks Doc.)
I have a few questions about this hearth. Here we go....
There is an external wire for a thermosat.
With out the external thermostat hooked up, would the timers work for the auger feed for High Low and Med switch? (testing only in the start position)
If the switch is moved to the run position should I start a fire first to test the speed of the position of the switch?
Last but not least, Should the Blower fan and the combustion fan come at the time of the switch in the start position or should I ignite the hearth first and wait for the thermostats to open to activate switch postion?
I realize that the company is no longer in buisness but....the hearth has never been used and sitting for the last 20 years and is in mint condition other then surface rust on the inside of the stove from not being used..
Any info on the particular pellet stove would be greatly appreciative..
