JAFFREY - Firefighters are battling a stubborn blaze at New England Wood Pellet reported early Friday morning.

The fire was reported about 2 a.m. and firefighters, including crews from surrounding towns, were still on the scene 4 1/2 hours later.

The plant at 141 Old Sharon Road was the site of a major blaze last October when sawdust caught fire and spread to the cooler. More than 100 firefighters from 14 different departments fought the blaze which took about 14 hours to extinguish.

The company manufactures wood pellets in a process involving the compression of dry wood dust

Sounds like the need to go into the charcoal business not pellets. Major bummer.

Seriously- The Last thing that I want is to see someone get hurt or killed by those wreckless buffoons in Jaffrey. That is the last thing that I want.
The second to last thing that I want to see is those guys in Jaffrey put more of their garbage pellets into the market. Ahhhh.....Charles Darwin said it best.

Glad no one was hurt...again...but what a joke. It's no wonder they charge so much for their product.
