Hey Don, I think someone posted on this yesterday. Wild for sure.

Pets in Italy, English language version. Truly everything is available on the internet. If that happens to any on this side of the pond, go down to the feed store. They should have oversize sacks for repacking torn fertilizer or feed sacks.

Hello from Italy! I noticed a lot of activity on my Something Nasty in the Woodshed post and decided to track it down and found this marvellous site. Thank you for the link, the internet is truly amazing.

Just to give you an update, I now keep my pellets in a locked garage out of the reach of demented English Setters on lizard patrol!

Welcome to the forum Fiona! LOL on keeping your pellets locked up! Are there many wood and pellet burners in Italy like the USA?

Ray

Thank you Ray. Yes, pellet stoves are really popular in Italy (and called stufa a pellet) . I'm originally from the UK and when I talk about my trusty stove when I go back I am often met with blank looks, so don't think they are as popular there.

Spent lots of time in Italy back when I was in the navy.. Naples was my home port when on the Med Cruise.. Visited UK when I was on a Nato Cruise back in 1976.. Sure do miss the travel!

Hi Fiona
Thanks for the update!

What part of Italy are you in? How many bags of pellets do you burn every winter?

Wow..... Welcome to the Forums Fiona.

Great story and even greater to see the actual person show up.

Some of the pellet stoves in Italy are leaps and bounds ahead of our stove technology.

What brand of stove do you have? Do you have any pics you can post? We love Pics...

Welcome Fiona!

I was also curious how popular sutfa a pellet stoves were in other countries.

Bill
