Hi All - I was quite active here a few years ago when I was burning wood in our Jotul F600. Thanks for all the great info!! Well, I'm back for more info/advice. I'm selling the stove. Too many reasons to list.. We'll have to save that for another time. I think I have a buyer but I never had the handle for the doors or ash pan door. Does anyone know the model #'s of these things? There is nothing in the manual or on the Jotul website.
Also - What can I do with the class A chimney hanging on the outside of my house. It only has 2 season on it. Is there an aftermarket for them?

Thanks again!

Joe

I am out.. Gave 3 cord of wood to a friend this weekend. Bummed about it..... Maybe I'll post a pic of the pipe in the "for sale" section and see what happens. It cost us an arm and a leg to have it installed so I am not expecting to get my money back.

Part of me thinks it would be worth more for resale if you left the chimney up vs. taking it down and trying to sell it or trashing it?

I was thinking that as well.

"Drum Jungle"? Fellow drummer here! Let's see some photos.

maybe in the inglenook?

I think the gas and the wood Firelights all used the same handle. Hex head angled end with a wooden handle. Part number 153somethingorother. I have a new one on the shelf. They are sixty bucks plus shipping from dealers. Send me your mailing address in a "conversation" and I will send it to you.

Because that is just the kind of website we are.

Edit: Here is a pic of it at Woodman's.

Bro - I don't care WHAT Delta-T and AP say about you. You're all right in my book.

The only requirement is that he has to start answering his phone "Connecticut Home For Widows And Orphans" in case the IRS calls. ;lol

I got the info and will send it out in a day or two.

This is a chip shot. People here have given away cords of wood and driven a lot of miles to help people install stoves and liners. I just have to go to the Post Office.

It ain't the size of the gesture. Its the gesture. There are no doubt countless good people on this forum. People helping people that they have never met. This is another one of those cases. I love this place. I love helping people.
