Anyone know of a good online place to get this gasket. Found one but it's $10.00 for a kit that includes a tail pipe gasket that I do not need. Or maybe make a abestos gasket?
TIA

Yes they are a Lytherm Gasket. Harman only has them available as a set with the tailpipe gasket. A couple of years ago the burn pot gaskets were available seperately and I am not sure why they changed. You can make your own fairly easily with gasket material from elsewhere. Just a time vs cost question really.

yea, some dealers split them from the tailpipe gasket......individually, they will cost around $4.09 each, but shipping, tax, etc will likely eat up any savings. Local is best, if you can find them.

Hello

I can see from the link they are Lytherm gaskets.

You can do alot better if you make your own!

Here is how I made one with pics and link of where to buy the material cheap!

You should not make the birn pot gasket out of lytherm. It will squeeze into the primary air holes for the burn pot. The gasket needs to rigid.

I grabbed one of the burnpot gaskets we have here and compared it to some samples we have of various flat gasket sheets, and doing a direct comparison I am going to change my statement from to Manniglass for what it is made of. That's what I get for answering from home without checked first.

Eric, at Kinsman Stoves took good care of me. Thanks to all!
