I have an Osburn 2400i and need to replace the insulation blanket on top of the firebox soon. Where would I be able to purchase this? I've checked on the internet briefly and can't find a website that sells them. The manufacturers website doesn't have it either. Thanks for the help...

call the local dealer?

If its kaowool, which I'm not sure about I have a sheet here you can have. You'll have to check on that first though.

Another term to use when searching is "refractory insulation". Kaowool is refactory insulation. I know ebay has it, and I'm sure a stove dealer can get it. KD

If it is in fact what you need, I'll send you the piece which is 12" x 24" if you pay shipping. I was going to use it in my stove but elected to go with a thermo-ceramic baffle instead.

Warren, it just has a small hole from rubbing against the fire bricks when I was either taking it out or re-installing it to clean the chimney earlier this year. Corie, thanks for the offer, let me check with my local stove place and see if they can get me it first though. Thanks again.
