PE Offers Clear Alderlea Doors

PE just announced a new door option for the Alderlea series models, without the filigree trim. T4's in metallic black will be the first to get the treatment, which will eventually be available on the T5, T6 and insert models as well. Here's a photo:

Having burned a few dozen models over the years, we've come to the conclusion that as you raise the airwash chute above the glass, it becomes progressively less effective. PE probably figures most folks would rather give up an inch of fire view at the top to avoid the dreaded "brown stripe" across the bottom.

But I'll tell you what really tickles me is Tom's avatar. Happy 4th, Tom!

Same to you, Fossil. "Independence Day Sweepy" is one of a series sent in by an artistic visitor to our website. We've been getting a new one every few weeks, and now also have "Christmas Sweepy," "New Years Sweepy," "St Patrick's Day Sweepy," and "Santa Sweepy," along with a promise of more to come. I'll try to switch avatars as the appropriate holidays come up so you all can have a looksee.

Actually that's not a trick You can special order the T5 with the handle on the right.

Right as usual Begreen, and PE now offers the metallic black T4 with the handle on the right as well.
