I for the life of me cannot figure out the metalbestos adjustable flashing is adjustable-- the only option I see is to cut it with tin snips.. Does anyone have any suggestions, or did I get the wrong product in the box?

Thanks

Bob

so i will be up on the roof yet again, I got the 6/12 flashing, eyeing it u it doesn't look like the chimney will be plumb.... maybe it's just me..

trust me you will be ok when you look at the flashing it has a big bevel so when you put it on the pipe you can start pitching it up or down then you stick your storm collar on and your in business :) it will look like it was meant to be.

i thought the same thing you did when i brought mine up to my roof. but once i took the shingles off and brought my pipe up i slipped it on and it moved into the right angle of my roof.

thanks
Jason

Thanks very much for the replies-I'll try again when the rest of the chimney pipe gets here.
